- Setup takes only minutes. Once the name and address of each display is entered, the user refers to displays by name, not IP Address or other technical terms. DisplayIt! software works with the NMP-500, and NMP-530 media players, and ND-4210W network display from ViewSonic, and the 4300G and 4305G Digital Media Players from Cisco. These media players work with almost any LCD or Plasma screen.

- Several types of compatible content may be imported into DisplayIt! content libraries. These include digital video, still images, flash movies, text, and even entire web pages designed for display on a digital sign. Plus - NEW IN REVISION 2.1 - LIVE or STREAMED VIDEO may be quickly and easily added to any presentation!
- Demonstration copies of FlashPoint and pptXTREME software are included with DisplayIt! Both programs add a menu option to Microsoft PowerPoint, to allow export of PowerPoint slide shows to Flash or JPG formats - both compatible with
DisplayIt! This allows your PowerPoint presentation to be shown full-screen or in a zone with other content.

- Templates may be created inside of DisplayIt! Templates allow precise placement of text, video, flash, and background images on the digital display. Templates are created by placing and dragging rectangles for each media type. There are buttons for centering, and setting the aspect ratio of each media type.
- By combining a predefined template, and media from the content libraries, a user may quickly create a presentation that is ready to schedule. Each presentation may include text messages, a playlist of movies, and other media elements. Any presentation may be previewed on screen – or sent immediately to a digital sign.
- The powerful scheduler built into DisplayIt! puts the scheduled presentation onto the correct digital display automatically, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each scheduled event may be repeated for any number of days, weeks, months, weekdays, or weekends. Displays may be restarted at a scheduled time each night.

- Groups of displays can have content scheduled for the entire group at once, rather than one-at-a-time. Group schedules overlay single display schedules.
- DisplayIt! logs every event, as it occurs, in an Excel spreadsheet for rapid data analysis. This feature is a great way to track advertising placement and impact.
- Artist-Quality Slide Shows - a series of images in a variety of formats may be quickly imported and displayed as a slide show in seconds. - Every slide is centered, with artistic beveled edges just like an artist would create!
Slide shows are shown on one of 50 artist-quality backgrounds - or your own custom background.
Also in DisplayIt! - Weather and Temperature from over 4,300 locations worldwide. Weather information is automatically updated every 30 minutes from the same database that airline pilots use.

- NEW in Revision 2.6!! Emergency Notification System Using
DI-Now!, you can define a notification Presentation for each display in your network for 9 emergency categories.
including Fire, Police Emergency, Bomb Threat, Tornado, Cyclone, Blizzard, Extreme Cold, Hurricane, and Tsunami.
Best Wave also offers a complete set of artist-quality emergency graphics in many languages. The graphics are designed to work in combination to convey a specific message for each display.
For example, Bomb Threat! - Evacuate Now! - Exit Here!, might be appropriate near an exit, while Bomb Threat - Evacuate Now! - Go Back!, would appear at the end of a hallway.
The system administrator sets up and tests the Emergency Notification System in advance, then it can be implemented in seconds with a couple of mouse clicks!
- NEW in Revision 2.7 & 2.8!! Dynamic Content - using XML Data! Any Flash file may now have an XML Data file "Attached" to it as part of the Presentation.
With this feature you can manually, or using an external software program, constantly update the content on your digital signs.
This capability is great for menus (change prices any time you want), schedules, room reservations, and many other types of changing data situations.
Two sample Flash files, and corresponding Excel XML spreadsheets are included with DisplayIt! to help you get started with this exciting new capability! One is a digital menu, and the other a room event schedule that you can customize to meet your needs. In addition, Best Wave will create similar dynamic sign solutions using your logo and custom XML data file for a low flat fee.
- NEW in Revision 2.9!! Slide shows with sound! A DisplayIt! slide show may have an MP3 audio file attached to it.
With this feature you can add narration or music to your slide show. The sound file will loop continuously while the slide show is playing. This feature can also be used to sound an
audible alarm as part of the Emergency Notification System! (IMPORTANT NOTE: This feature is not compatible with all media players)
Revision 2.9 also includes a complete new FTP mechanism within the DI Transport program. The new FTP is much faster, and more accurate than the previous version.
Any user that uses DI Transport should upgrade to revision 2.9.
In addition, this new revision provides a new log that tracks each time the schedule is changed, including the date, time, and which user made the change.
This revision also allows you to change the sequence of
any list of movies, slides, or other content. Just highlight the item you want to move, and click the up or down arrow on your keyboard. Also, this revision fixes several issues, most importantly, it includes the new location for U.S. Weather.

Kiosk Communicator provides the framework for all Best Wave kiosk systems. With its powerful functionality, Kiosk Communicator enables Best Wave's team of media experts, to create rich multimedia interactive kiosks on the PC platform. Kiosk Communicator is in continuous use by some of the world’s largest companies in some of the most traffic-intensive locations in retail.
Unlike typical “Internet Kiosks” – Kiosk Communicator is a media rich environment: movies play full screen and start playing instantly and sound is part of every menu. The interface, which is optimized for touch screen rather than mouse and keyboard use, is designed to be so intuitive that “everyone knows how to use it already.” Simple picture menus and voice-over narration guide the user through the navigation process. Touch screen keyboards, card swipes, bar code scans and a variety of printing options including label printing and even two-sided color laser printing make interaction with Kiosk Communicator a breeze.
Kiosk Communicator was also designed with marketers in mind: it does not require Internet access to run, update, and retrieve marketing data. Complete marketing data are kept in Excel spreadsheet format, by week and by month. And in just a matter of minutes, a marketing or merchandise manager can see exactly how consumers are interacting with the kiosk. Our clients can choose to have us consolidate their marketing data across regions, states, or even individual stores.
